SEARCH TIPS

Don’t be too specific. Instead of B18C5, try B18, VTEC or Stroker. B18 engines with 84mm and larger bores may use B20 components, so try a B20 search. Avoid using multiple words.

Manufacturer’s part numbers can usually be searched. Avoid using prefixes ahead of the part number. Example, we use 'WI-' for Wiseco then add their part number.

For some V8 pistons, try a search by bore size as one piston may fit several rod/stroke combinations.

ENGINE KITS are not called out as each is custom assembled and the combinations are endless. Instead, qualifying components will show a second lower kit price. The shopping cart total reflects the kit price.

CARRILLO BILLET RODS for 2300........

These Carrillo billet rods are custom made for us on the ultralight A-Beam platform. Note the side beams are chamfered which not only removes weight, but reduces windage characteristics as well. Currently we stock 5.700" lengths for 2" Chevy rod journals and our proprietary 5.930" length in both Chevy 2" and Honda sizes for reduced bearing speed (free horsepower anyone?). We stock crankshafts with both rod jounal sizes and small mains, lightened and balanced of course. Large main cranks with Honda journals can be special ordered.

Rods longer than 5.700" are recommended for fast 3/8 mile or longer tracks. We have a rod length guide available here.
