RACE ENGINEERING 2300 CRANKSHAFTS....
We offer 2 styles of crankshafts: Race Prep Cranks are carefully machined from select Ford cores. All mains are turned .010", even in perfect, to achieve extra race clearances. You cannot turn a crank .001" and keep it round. Ford rod journals are also turned .010". Chevy journals will be turned 2.000" standard, to the low limit. We will maximize fillet radii on all ground cranks, so be careful with bearing clearances in these areas. We do several stroker cranks for the 2.5 and 2.7 strokes. These are offset ground, not welded, are very lightweight and use Honda rod journals (we have rods).
Race Billet Cranks are custom made for us and are reasonably priced. Available in stock stroke, 2700 and 2850cc versions.
All are carefully balanced and include a new pilot bearing. We do not sell repaired cranks.
