SHORT BLOCKS.....
All Race Engineering short blocks are professionally assembled. Blocks are torque plate machined eliminating the need for gapless rings; all are stroker clearanced regardless of stroke and include special aux bearings to feed more oil to the distributor gear. All bearing clearances are measured....we do not use plastigauge. 2500cc engines and larger include strapped mains and ARP studs.
NOTE: We keep several popular short block combinations in stock during race season, ready to ship. We can usually assemble a custom short block within 3-4 business days as components are on the shelf.
