SEARCH TIPS
  • Don’t be too specific.  Instead of B18C5, try B18, VTEC or Stroker.  B18 engines with 84mm and larger bores may use B20 components, so try a B20 search.  Avoid using multiple words.
  • Manufacturer’s part numbers can usually be searched.  Avoid using prefixes ahead of the part number.  Example, we use 'WI-' for Wiseco then add their part number.
  • For some V8 pistons, try a search by bore size as one piston may fit several rod/stroke combinations.
  • ENGINE KITS are not called out as each is custom assembled and the combinations are endless.  Instead, qualifying components will show a second lower kit price. The shopping cart total reflects the kit price.

CONNECTING RODS……

TECH: Rods come in several styles. All rods are stronger than stock and include capscrews and bushings. Crower's are available in Ford and 2" Chevy journal sizes. Race Engineering rods have Ford, Chevy and Honda journal sizes with machined side beams for less weight and increased strength (no stress risers).

We also stock a lightweight 5.7" H-Beam billet rod in both 2.000" and Honda rod journal sizes.

The ultimate lightweight billets are Carrillo A-Series, which have a profiled (chamfered) beam for reduced windage properties, and Crower Maxi-lights which we stock.

All 2.5 assemblies use 5.700" rods.
